Focus Entertainment has addressed fan concerns regarding the lack of post-launch content for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, promising new updates will be rolling out every couple of months.
While fans are eager to sink their teeth into more content for Space Marine 2, Focus was quick to remind players that these things take time, but promised it will be bringing new PvP and PvE maps, Horde mode, and more down the line. In other words, sit tight and let them cook.
Space Marine 2 has been out for four months, and your continued enthusiasm means the world to us. We’re not done with it! You can expect updates every two months. We’d love to do more, but we’re committed to delivering polished updates, which takes time and care! Thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support.

Season 3’s highlights coming with Patch 6 include a new PvP arena, the ‘Absolute’ difficulty, and Tyranid Biovore, while Patch 7 will implement a new PvE mission, custom PVP lobbies, and a new weapon. Season 4 arrives in the spring, and is also packed with goodies such as the aforementioned Horde Mode, a new enemy and weapons, plus an additional PvP game mode.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was released in September 2024 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
