UPDATE:
Jeff Grubb has claimed that these latest rumours about Titanfall 3 are not true. Speaking in the latest episode of Game Breaking News, he commented:
This isn’t real. I’m sorry. It’s not real.
Does he ( Titanfall 1 director Steve Fukuda) have something like a prototype that has titans in it? I would guess so. I don’t know for sure, but I would certainly assume that that is a safe thing to think.
Now, is that going to get announced in 2025 and released in 2026? No way.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
Fresh rumours about the as-yet unannounced Titanfall 3 have emerged via known Apex Legends leaker, Osvaldatore, who claimed that development on the highly anticipated sequel is ‘almost complete.’
Only last week, this leaker alongside another tipster had claimed that Titfanfall 3 was indeed in development, and will apparently launch in 2026 with a possible reveal slated for The Game Awards this year. However, Osvaldatore has now taken to X with some more tidbits on the game, which of course should be taken with a pinch of salt as nothing official has been confirmed.

According to the leaker, Titnafall 3 is being powered by Unreal Engine 5 and features a single-player campaign alongside live service elements including a battle pass. The main mode is said to be Extraction, and will be joined by TDM, Control, Arenas, and ‘all Titanfall 2 classic modes.’ Finally, it will feature some returning Apex characters and a weather system.
Again, this is all just speculation at this point as there has been no official confirmation that Titanfall 3 is in development.
Back in June 2023, it was revealed by former Titanfall game designer Mohammad Alavi that a third entry in the franchise was in development at one stage, but Resapwn scrapped it in favour of Apex Legends.
