The Witcher 3 Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz Leaves CDPR Following Allegations Of Workplace Bullying

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the director behind CD Projekt RED‘s hugely successful The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has departed the studio in wake of accusations of bullying in the workplace. Tomaszkiewicz has denied the allegations.

According to a Bloomberg report, CDPR had been busy investigating claims of mobbing, which is a term used in Poland to describe office bullying, aimed at Tomaszkiewicz. An email addressed to staff at the company reveals that Tomaszkiewicz was found not guilty after a commission had been formed to look into the bullying allegations.

“Nonetheless, a lot of people are feeling fear, stress or discomfort when working with me, he commented, before apologising to staff “for all the bad blood I have caused.”

Tomaszkiewicz was believed to have played a major role in the next Witcher video game, and when contacted by Bloomberg, confirmed he had left CPDR and was “sad, a bit disappointed and resigned” after his departure.
