The PS5 DualSense Looks To Have Lights On The Front Of The Controller Showing Which Player Number You Are

After multiple images of the DualSense PS5 controller being used have emerged, it appears like the lights at the bottom of the controller’s light bar will signify which player you are in the game, with the number of lights corresponding to whether you are player 1, 2, 3, or 4.

The images, who the small lights ranging from 4 to only one being lit. We also see two of these lights on the controller. The only combination we don’t see is three lights, however, we can make the assumption that this will be possible, considering four lights are shown. This is a nice way to distinguish what player you are and doesn’t force the Light Bar to be a particular color, like on the DualShock 4. This also means that games can show what player you are and also use the light bar’s colors. The images can be found below:

This bit of info was revealed alongside a whole load of other information about Sony’s next-generation console. Firstly, Japanese YouTubers and previews have reported that the PS5’s fan made almost no noise. They also highlighted how quick Godfall and Astro’s Playroom loaded, alongside showcasing some new up-close images of the console. The DualSense’s light bar can also change colors. Sony will be abandoning their traditional ‘O’ confirm button in Japan, opting for the Western ‘X’.
