Developer Red Barrels has revealed that horror romp The Outlast Trials will launch for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in early 2024.
Speaking in a comment on a YouTube video for the game, the studio revealed that while Cross-Progression won’t be included, it is working to enable Cross-Play with the PC version The Outlast Trials.
Heads up to all those asking about console release, we’ve been working on console ports and are aiming to have The Outlast Trials on console Early 2024 including PS5, Xbox S/X, older gen PS4/XboxOne, while enabling crossplay with PC, without cross-progression.
The news about the game’s console release comes alongside a new update for The Outlast Trials, which arrives just ahead of Halloween. It’s available now for PC owners, and comes with a new trial program known as Geister, a new map that takes place in and around a warped courthouse.
The Outlast Trials launches for consoles in early 2024.
