Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to PS5 with a release date of June 8, 2021, the same day as the upcoming Blackwood Expansion.
The Elder Scrolls Online Console Enhanced (the official name for the upgrade) will feature a Performance Mode that allows the game to run at 60 FPS on PS5. There’s also a Fidelity Mode that allows 4K and 30 FPS.
Elsewhere, the PS5 version of the game will include improved loading times and increased draw distance, plus a bunch of other enhancements including improved reflections, shadows, depth of field, ambient occlusion and updated antialiasing. All of your content will also come with you from PS4 and you can get a free upgrade for the game if you already own it on PS4.
