A report on Insider Gaming has revealed that SuperMassive Games has cancelled an unannounced project title Blade Runner: Time To Live.
According to the site, the game was set to be a “character-focused, cinematic, action adventure” title where players follow the only Blade Runner in 2065, with a single-player story lasting around 10-12 hours. Documents provided to Insider Gaming claim that this would have offered a “compelling story blending the philosophical themes of Blade Runner with kinetic action-adventure gameplay.”
Journey from the teeming undercity of New Zurich 2065 to the eerie remnants of the forgotten world beyond. Under orders to retire Rev, the mysterious and ruthless leader of an underground replicant network, you are betrayed and left for dead in a brutally hostile environment.

Blade Runner: Time To Live reportedly entered pre-production in September 2024, with main team having previously worked on The Quarry. Pre-production was set to wrap up last month, with prototyping set to end in September 2025.
Interestingly, the game was set to launch on PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and “Gen 10” Xbox and PlayStation consoles in September 2027. The reason for the game’s cancellation is reportedly down to Alcon Entertainment, who is the owner of the Blade Runner rights.
