Nihon Falcom has announced that Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, previously known as The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st, will launch in Fall 2025 for PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The US and UK versions will be published by GunHo Online Entertainment with Japanese voiceovers.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will receive a physical version of the game in North America on Amazon, and Limited Run Games is flogging a Collector’s Edition, with more details set to drop at a later date. If you’re in Europe and what the physical edition, you can pick it up via distributor Clear River.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is a remake of the first entry in The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky as part of the series’ 20th anniversary. The setting of Liberl Kingdom has been completely overhauled with vibrant 3D visuals, while characters such as Estelle and Joshua have been refined for modern consoles.
Combat is designed to be exhilarating and stress-free, allowing players to switch effortlessly between two battle modes — Field Action and Command Battle. Meanwhile, the game world is packed with quests and side activities to hoover up, evoking the feeling of travelling across the kingdom on an epic quest.
