Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS4 Hits 60 FPS On PS5 Much More Consistently In Backwards Compatibility Than Native PS5 Version

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is now available for the PS4, and so naturally, folk on YouTube have started to run performance tests. The result? The game actually manages to run at 60 FPS on PS5 via backwards compatibility more consistently than its native counterpart.

YouTuber Cycu1 provided a detailed look at the game running in backwards compatibility on PS5, and it does indeed seem that its frame rate performance is pretty solid.

Elsewhere, GamingTrend offered another look at Star Wars Jedi Survivor for PS4 running on the PS5 via backwards compatibility, and again it turned in favourable results.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the second chapter in the franchise, which takes place five years after its predecessor, Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order (which was set between the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope). The game was originally released for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in April 2023. Last week, it was confirmed that the third chapter is now underway and will be the final entry in the story.
