Spyro The Dragon Return Possibly Teased By Toys For Bob

Toys For Bob, the studio behind the excellent Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, has potentially teased a return for the purple, fire-breathing platform icon Spyro the Dragon.

The studio, who also worked on 2018’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy, shared a post on social media teasing the year ahead, which included a small image of Spyro. While this may not mean anything at all, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t get a comeback; after all, if Crash can, why not Spyro?

Following its acquisition by Activision Blizzard, Toys for Bob was made a support studio for Call of Duty Warzone, although that doesn’t preclude it from working on its own projects too. After all, it’s currently working on Crash Team Rumble.

On the topic of Spyro the Dragon, it’s worth pointing out that the much-loved platforming franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, having originally launched for the PSOne back in 1998. The perfect time for a new game, you might say!
