The Spyro Treasure Trilogy has still to be officially revealed. If you were one of the many people who hung around last week waiting for Activision to announce the game, then you were undoubtedly disappointed. However, there’s some good news.
So, totally out of the blue it appears that retailer Target may have let things slip. In response to a tweet from a fan asking when the next Spyro game will be available to pre-order, the official Ask Target account responded:
“Thanks for reaching out! We're “all fired up,” for the Spyro Treasure Trilogy game as well! We don't currently have any information about when this game will be available for pre-order. Please to continue checking back for availability. Have an awesome day!”

As you can see below, we think the person responding is a little bit excited!
TARGET HOLY SHIT

You’ll notice in the tweet, they actually misspelt Spyro, so maybe they’re wrong about the Treasure Trilogy too! We’ll leave that for you to decide.
The time has come and gone for when we were all expecting the Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy announcement, following rumors that it would be revealed last week. However, fans on Twitter have been in high spirits recently with some funny tweets. We think we’ve also embraced the disappointment too, with the likes of this one…

Well, despite the new Spyro PS4 game still not official, we think fans have made it loud and clear that a lot of people are really looking forward to the announcement. Spyro was trending on Twitter, players are talking about the return of the purple dragon, and maybe us waiting a little longer is only going to fuel that hype.
Still, what are Activision up to?
We’ve got a theory. Activision tell different departments that Spyro was being announced at a different time. Then they find out which department the mole is from when the leaker posts on Reddit with the pretend date and time. Genius! But can you just announce it now, please. pic.twitter.com/niYR87owMA

Original Story
The Spyro The Dragon PS4 Trilogy has yet to be announced by Activision, but rumors are hotting up that it will be revealed in full today and be called Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy. Earlier this month, Kotaku claimed to have heard from an inside source that a remastered Spyro game is definitely happened.
Further fuel has been added to the rumor after these newly printed official Spyro t-shirts were spotted. Notice these t-shirts have a 2018 copyright message printed on the back.

Now, an unnamed source, who also leaked Call of Duty Black Ops 3, has cropped up on Reddit to say that they've heard from an inside source that Activision plans to announced Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy today, March 15 at 1pm PST.
Previous rumors suggest it may be a timed PS4 exclusive, and it may launch in September to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the purple dragon. The trilogy is likely to include: Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon.
Fans also believe that a Spyro PS4 demo will be made available prior to launch, and will be playable through Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy. Alongside a HD makeover, we’re also hoping that the remaster will include some brand-new features and fix some of the issues in the previous Spyro games.
We'll let you know if and when the Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy is announced.
