The PS5 Slim hit the US and Europe late last year with the aim of replacing the launch version of the console, and Sony Interactive Entertainment now appears to be issuing some significant price cuts for the hardware.
Italy has received a temporary price cut of €75 off the usual asking price for PS5 Slim, so it’s currently available for €474.99 instead of the standard price tag of €549.99. You can pick it up cheap at participating retailers including Amazon and GameStop.
Meanwhile, in France the console is already seeing discounts at various retailers, although Sony hasn’t officially announced anything yet. For example, Cdiscount is offering the PS5 Slim for €499, and Amazon has it on its flash sale for €474.99.

Right now there’s no confirmation if any other PAL regions will receive a PS5 Slim price cut, but we’ll keep you posted.
