It’s official, a State of Play is happening this week, as rumoured. Now all bets are off, and at time of writing we’ve just a little bit over 24 hours to go until PlayStation’s first showcase event of the year kicks off.
Which is why it’s no surprise to already see speculation from notable industry sources about what’ll be shown, and it’s Windows Centrals’ Jez Corden again, with another claim about yet another Xbox game coming to PS5.
This time the game in question is Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and Corden claims the question of it coming to PS5 is not “if” it will come, but “when.” Corden also adds “‘when’ is pretty soon from what I’ve been hearing.”
So it’s entirely possible that tomorrow’s show will be when we find out Hellblade 2 will finally join the first game, and arrive on PlayStation. Of course, though, it’s also possible (and maybe more likely) that Xbox is holding announcements of its games coming to PlayStation for its own showcases.
Or at least a third-party showcase. Who knows, Forza Horizon 5 was confirmed to be coming to PS5 with just a blog post. We’ll see how it all shakes out tomorrow.
