Jez Corden has responded to rumours about the Gears of War Collection and its multiplayer content. “Co-op, but not PvP, is what I heard,” he wrote (viaTheGamer).

X user Detective Seeds has claimed that the long-rumoured Gears of War Collection is going to be PS5 Pro enhanced, but will lack the multiplayer PvP elements of the original games.
The tipster revealed in a series of posts that Gears of War Collection has already been uploaded to the backend of the PS Store, and is likely going to be released in early to mid-August 2025. Detective Seeds was also unable to say whether or not campaign co-op would be featured in the collection.

This latest report comes just a few days after known leaker extas1s claimed that Gears of War Collection would be heading to the PS5 day and date with the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions, with a reveal apparently set for June. Nothing official has been announced yet, so treat all these rumbles with a pinch of salt for the time being.
The Gears of War Collection will presumably feature Gears of War, Gears of War 2, and Gears of War 3, although there’s hope it may also add Gears of War Judgment too.
