Black PS Portal Is Reportedly Part Of Sony’s New Line Of PS5 Accessories

Sony Interactive Entertainment is apparently set to include the PlayStation Portal in its upcoming range of black PS5 accessories, joining the previously-rumoured DualSense Edge and Pulse wireless devices that will also be coming in that colour range.

Once again, that’s according to reliable leaker Billbil-kun from Dealabs, who claims that the black PS Portal will be available for the same price as the standard version, although it will reportedly be a limited launch. He also added that “other hardware and accessories seem to be in the works at Sony,” and will be released “very soon.”

In addition to the above, Billbil-kun also revealed that there will be a DualSense controller themed on Helldivers 2, which is set to retail for £74.99/$84.99.

PlayStation Portal was released in November 2023 and allows users to stream PS5 to the device over your Wi-Fi connection, but cannot play games natively. In related news, Sony is apparently working on a dedicated handheld device (whether this will be a true successor to the PS Vita remains unknown), but it’s reportedly still years away from launch.
