Fossil Games has unwrapped a new trailer for Sunshine Manor, the upcoming retro-inspired horror RPG that is something of a love letter to 1980s horror films. It also features a protagonist who to my eyes looks a bit like Velma from Scooby-Doo, but that’s just me.
Developer Paul Dolby highlighted some of the new attractions in the trailer, revealing the team has been busy adding a bunch of new content such as combat and bosses.
“As you can see from the trailer there’s a lot more to Sunshine Manor than your standard horror RPG. The team has added combat, multiple enemies, boss fights, puzzles and much more awaits you behind the doors of the mysterious Aitken Manor.”

For those who are out of the loop, Sunshine Manor casts you as Ada, who finds herself trapped in the Aitken Manor after a spot of trick or treating. You soon find yourself battling against demons and solving puzzles using Ada’s psychic powers, all the while stalked by the omni-present Shadow Man.
Sunshine Manor is scheduled for release this fall on PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms.
