Sony obviously hasn’t announced any plans for a PS5 Slim yet, as the base version is still not even out yet. However, given that all PlayStation consoles have received hardware revisions down the line (PSone, PSTwo, PS3 Slim, PS3 Super Slim and PS4 Slim) there’s a good chance PS5 will not break that trend.

The PS5 will launch in the US and UK on November 12 and November 19, respectively. The console is available in two variations: the Digital-Only Edition ($399/£359) and the Standard Edition ($499/£449), with the former only supporting digital downloads and lacks a disc drive.

Sony recently revealed that it expects to sell 7.6 million PS5 consoles worldwide by the end of March 2021.
