PS4 triumphs as consumers’ most desirable next-gen console

A survey conducted by Intergi Entertainment has concluded that the PlayStation 4 is the most desired next-generation console among consumers.

The company tapped into its network of 1,500 sites and polled consumers on a variety of questions, including which console they are planning to purchase, which console’s aesthetic appeals to them the most, and which controller function they feel is the most innovative.

Sony’s next-generation system came out on top for every question. For example, in regards to purchase intent, 58 per cent of those polled confirmed they want to buy a PS4, compared to 39 per cent for Xbox One and just one per cent for the Wii U.

On the software front, PS4 again came out on top, with 50 per cent of consumers suggesting that the platform has the best launch line-up. Furthermore, 52 per cent of those interested in purchasing PS4 intend to buy Killzone: Shadow Fall.
