A brand new PS4 system update is now available. PS4 system update 7.01 is now available for download, and as one might expect from the versioning, it doesn’t really do a whole lot sadly.

This system software update improves system performance.
Much more exciting, in case you missed it, is the fact that Sony’s State of Play December 2019 briefing is now in the books where a great deal of SUPER COOL STUFF was announced, from Untitled Goose Game waddling its way to PS4, to the announcement that the Resident Evil 3 Remake will arrive in April 2020 next year.
