Original story: Considering Sony’s hardened stance on the adult industry so far, it’s unlikely that PlayStation VR will get a dedicated PS4 porn app, nor will they openly support it, but VR porn is very likely coming to Sony’s console.
Following news that VR Pornhub plans to support adult content on PSVR, another provider has also pledged their support. VRPorn.com contacted PlayStation Universe to reveal more about their plans, and tell us how owners of PSVR will be able to watch adult movies through the PS4 and their headsets.
“Most likely, the path from PSVR to vr porn will be through the web. PSVR users will be accessing websites, using their Playstation VR headset. We see the web as the place where adult vr will dominate because it’s the most open and accessible platform,” said Daniel Peterson, CEO and founder of VRPorn.
We asked Daniel whether he’d actually approached Sony about whether watching VR porn is actually going to be possible on PlayStation VR.
“We have not approached Sony yet,” he told us. “But Sony is a big smart company that understands the market. I think they’ll make the right choices to make sure their tech is Web VR enabled, though it may take them a while to get there. This has a lot of good uses besides porn BTW, the VR web will be huge. VRPorn.com will definitely be supporting PSVR, we are big fans. We actually preordered back in March in the first hour before they sold out.”

Daniel believes that PSVR will “have a larger user-base than all the other systems combined,” and the demand is very likely going to be there.
So, it seems that the only thing that can stop VR porn being a success on PlayStation VR is Sony themselves. Will they somehow be able to filter out the content from the PS4 web browser, or will fans of adult films be able to get their virtual-reality adult movie kicks with ease?
