PS4 firmware 4.05 has apparently been hacked and multiple dumps of compatible 4.05 PS4 games are being shared across the web.
Essentially, this means that there are people out there playing pirated PS4 games on the hacked version of PlayStation 4’s 4.05 firmware.
Furthermore, the new hack (called PS4Hen) apparently allows emulation of PS2 games (though we’re no expert on these things). We certainly don't recommend pirating PS4 games, and we have no clue how you go about this, but the breakthrough seems to being celebrated widely in those circles. A few of the pirated PS4 games we’ve spotted include Doom VFR and Dead Rising 4.
Meanwhile, outside of the world of hacking, PS4 players are currently waiting to beta test the new PS4 firmware update 5.50. Big features are expected and rumors are that we could see the much-requested PSN Name Change feature alongside other cool updates!
