New data from GfK Chart-Track and UKIE shows that PS4 exclusives spent more time in the number one spot in the UK charts than any other platform in 2017.
According to the stats, which were published by GamesIndustry.biz, PS4 games racked up 50.2% of all physical software sales.
Though this doesn't include digital sales, it's an impressive figure and the first year ever (since data records began) that one platform has dominated to this degree.
In total, PS4 exclusives spent 15 weeks in the number one position in the charts, with games such as Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy, Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5 all making that coveted spot at the top.
In comparison, Xbox One enjoyed 31.6% of total physical game sales.
2018 is also going to be another stellar year for PS4 exclusives. Included in the list of games coming to PS4 in 2018 are highly-anticipated titles such as Spider-Man, God of War and Death Stranding.
