S-Game has announced that Phantom Blade Zero has sold four million units in just 72 hours, with the game having launched for PS5 and PC on October 29, 2026.
Speaking on the game’s official X account, the studio wrote, “Phantom Blade Zero has sold over 4 million copies in just 72 hours! Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and support!”
S-Game had previously confirmed that physical versions for Phantom Blade Zero on PS5 will launch in 2027, and includes three different versions — Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate.
The game is based on Wuxia, and is set in the Phantom World inspired by China’s Ming Dynasty, combining elements of wuxia, steampunk, cyberpunk, horror and more. The main character, Soul, is an elite assassin serving a mysterious organisation known as The Order, but is framed for its patriarch’s murder and subsequent hunted by its members. Soul sustains a fatal wound to his heart but is revived; however, he only has 66 days left to live, during which time he must restore his heart and unravel the conspiracy.
