Singer Shihoko Hirata has revealed in a post on Instagram that she’s in the process of “recording for a new game,” giving many fans hope that a Persona 4 Remake is on the cards.
The post adds that “the piece is pretty tough, so I’m a bit nervous about getting it right. But I’ll do my best!” In addition, the photo accompanying the post seemingly depicts MIT Studio, which is the place where recordings for other Person soundtracks were made, at least according to music database Discogs.
This alone obviously doesn’t confirm that a Persona 4 Remake is in development, although to add more fuel to the fire, Hirata also ‘Liked’ a number of Persona 4 GIFs in the comments to her post, some of which date back to last year.

Back in April last year, leaker Midori claimed that a Persona 4 Remake is on the way, but fans would have to “wait a while” for any info to materialise on the project.
