The next adventure in Bandai Namco's One Piece series will be One Piece World Seeker.
Originally codenamed One Piece Game Dawn, trademarks have been registered for World Seeker in Japan, the United States and Europe.
Gematsu confirms that the game will be “dramatic, free-field, and action”, suggesting an open-world approach.

The details were leaked from Weekly Jump, a manga magazine in Japan, and it's rumoured that One Piece World Seeker will be revealed in full to coincide with the launch of their next issue on December 11.
The One Piece video game series is based around the original Japanese manga series, and games in the franchise have dated back over 15 years.
The last entry for PS4 was One Piece Burning Blood which was also released for PS Vita in 2016. The fighting game has a niche audience but always sells extremely well in Japan.
Reviews of Burning Blood were mixed, which is maybe why Bandai Namco and developer Spike Chunsoft are ready to switch things up with One Piece World Seeker.
