Out of nowhere, a brand new Ratchet & Clank animated special, called Life Of Pie, has been released online from Canada’s TV and Movie service Crave.
Unfortunately, it isn’t available anywhere else in the world, but the short follows Ratchet and Clank as they discover Dr Nefarious’ Polarizer. On the way, Captain Quark ends up creating a sentient pizza horde and the team have to try and take on the mob to survive and save the universe.
Directed by Mike Alcock and Craig George, the short acts as a prequel to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, with the voice actors returning for their roles. It is from Mainframe Studios, the team behind the 2016 movie. If you live in Canada you can watch the short here.

Earlier this week, Insomniac Games confirmed Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will release on PS5 in June and detailed the pre-order and digital deluxe edition bonuses for the game. Teases were also dropped for the name of the mysterious female Lombax, which has been showcased in trailers.
