Sony has revamped its official PlayStation website with a new PS5 icon alongside existing images for the PS4, PS4 Pro and PSVR. It’s not really all that exciting to be honest (it’s literally a small icon, after all) but it’s good to see that the gears are moving towards the next-generation at Sony.

Sony will launch the PS5 this holiday season, and it’s not expected the console will be delayed unless Microsoft for whatever reason postpones the launch of the Xbox Series X. The console will come packaged with a new controller, the DualSense, which features a range of new abilities including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.

We’ve already seen a number of major title revealed for the PS5 so far, including Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil Village (aka Resident Evil 8), Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden West.
