New Fortnite Update Leak Reveals PS4 & Xbox One Split Screen

Is Fortnite split screen on PS4? Well, you’re in luck as a new Fortnite leak has revealed that split-screen support is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Epic Games’ popular Battle Royale title. The new Fortnite update will drop later today, and a image of the console split-screen support page has leaked online confirming the feature is on the way. Epic pulled the page, but we’ve got a sample of it below.

New Fortnite Update Detailed – How To Do Split Screen On Fortnite PS4

Split-screen functionality is only available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Mobile device,s Nintendo Switch and PC platforms are not supported.

This feature is limited to Fortnite: Battle Royale Duos and Squads and does not include Creative, Limited Time Modes, Save the World or Solos. Cross-play between console platforms will be able to split-screen.

Please note that you must have a stable internet connection and, in the event that one player disconnects or exits the match, the split-screen session will end. The lobby and all sub-menus are not shared and split-screen will only work while in a match. This does not allow players to share inventory.
