New Battlefield Community Test Plans Leaked Ahead Of Official Reveal

EA‘s plans for the new Battlefield game community testing have seemingly leaked ahead of an official announcement, which is expected to take place later today after the publisher told fans to tune in at 5.00pm CET.

A Reddit user revealed that the details were advertising in-game on Battlefield 4, so it looks like EA mistakenly put them live a few hours ahead of schedule.

Battlefield Labs Is a new exclusive testing environment connecting a selected number of players directly with our developers. You’ll test while providing us with crucial feedback in order to make the best Battlefield possible. We’re kicking things off with players in Europe and North America, before looking to expand in the future. While spaces are limited, we encourage everyone to sign up.

EA hasn’t fully revealed the new Battlefield game yet, as we’ve only seen one piece of concept art. However, Insider-Gaming had previously reportedly extensively on the project, stating it takes place between 2027 — 2030, and will feature 45 weapons and 10 multiplayer maps at launch.

A separate report from the site claimed that EA is hoping to avoid the troubles seen with Battlefield 2042’s launch by conducting the most extensive playlists for the new game that the series has seen to date.
