Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Reportedly Isn’t Coming Out Until 2027 At The Earliest

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has claimed in a post on ResetEra that Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet won’t be seeing the light of day until 2027 at the earliest.

The journalist was responding to a post on ResetEra about the recent confirmation from CD Projekt RED that The Witcher IV won’t be seeing the light of day until after 2026, and said that this also applies to Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

I’m pretty sure I said they were both going to be very early teases. Neither of those games will be out next year.

Naughty Dog announced Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet during The Game Award 2024 in December, although a release window wasn’t given at the time.

The action-adventure title takes place thousands of years in the future, and focuses on Jordan A. Mun (played by Tati Gabrielle), a bounty hunter who is stranded on a remote planet while on the hunt for a notorious crime syndicate. The game’s universe takes place in an alternate history where advanced space travel was made possible by 1986, and is being helmed by The Last of Us mastermind Neil Druckmann.
