NetherRealm Studios has announced that the T-1000 from the Terminator franchise will be added to Mortal Kombat 1 on March 18, 2025 for Kombat Pack 2 owners.
Actor Robert Patrick will be lending his voice and likened to the character, having portrayed the T-1000 in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton. Unlike the regular Terminator models up to that point, the T-1000 is made from liquid metal, and can therefore assume the shape of anything it touches, such as “knifes and stabbing weapons” as Schwarzenegger’s Terminator confirms in the movie.

The T-1000 is being joined by Madam Bo, who joins the roster as a Kameo fighter having previously appeared as a minor character in the campaign. Both characters arrive as part of the Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, which adds new story content.
When a perilous threat arrives from an alternate timeline, led by the ruthless Titan Havik whose sole mission is to throw the realms into khaos, Liu Kang must rally his champions and put faith in his enemies to defeat this grave danger. If they fail, the New Era will be reduced to anarchy.
Mortal Kombat 1 launched for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in September 2023, and kicked off a brand new narrative thread established by Fire God Liu Kang, after the conclusion of MK11’s Aftermath DLC. You can read our full review on the game here.
