Monster Hunter Wilds PS5 Update Coming March 4 With Progression Bug Fix & More

Capcom has announced the release of a new Monster Hunter Wilds update for tomorrow on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, which will iron out the progression blocker bug that has been plaguing users since launch. This follows news that the company was investigating the issue following widespread reports of the bug over the weekend.

Heads up, hunters: an update is planned to go live on all platforms at 12am PST / 8am GMT on March 4th with fixes for issues with the Ingredient Center, Grill a Meal and story progression in Chapter 5-2 “A World Turned Upside Down”. Once the update is out, any online sessions will be discontinued and you will need to update to continue playing online.

Capcom announced last week that Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 is launching in early April, and will feature new creatures to battle as well as an additional spot for players to meet up. Monster Hunter Wilds arrived on February 28 and you can read our full verdict here.
