[UPDATE]Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2 Could Be Extended 24 Hours Due To PSN Outage At A Later Date

Capcom has officially confirmed that it is extending the Open Beta Test 2 for Monster Hunter Wilds by +24 hours. The new times are as follows: Feb. 13, 7pm PT / Feb. 14, 3am GMT – Feb. 17, 6:59 pm PT / Feb. 18, 2:59 am GMT.

Capcom has revealed that it is considering to extend the second Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test by 24 hours at a later date in wake of the PlayStation Network outage over the weekend.

PS5 hunters, thanks for your patience and understanding during this weekend’s PSN service issues. To account for reduced OBT2 play time due to the outage, we are considering running OBT2 for an additional 24 hours at a future date. Exact details and timing are TBD, so please stay tuned.

Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for release on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S on February 28, 2025. Capcom recently announced details on the graphics modes for the game, which include ray-tracing mode that runs the game at 30 FPS and a mode that offers 60 FPS at upscaled 4K resolution.

The Open Beta Test 2 features a brand new hunt for players to tackle, which pits gamers against the Arkveld.
