MLB The Show 21 has finally debuted its first gameplay in its weekly premiere series and it focuses on Pitching and Hitting.

Alongside new features, like a gesture-based system for replicating pitch motions with the analogue stick, the game also will offer three gameplay style options, which is the first thing you see when you open the game. Casual focuses on players looking to have a fun time, whereas Simulation is an experience close to the authentic MLB, with some user input (what MLB The Show has used before. The Competitive style is for those looking to take on the best online players and San Diego Studio are aiming for barely any randomness, exploits, and issues here.

Once that has been decided you will choose your difficulty, which now has six tiers. From there you can experience the core gameplay of MLB and some of the new features like Par and Pinpoint Pitching. All of this is highlighted in the gameplay feature from San Diego Studio below:
