Minecraft YouTube Videos Have Hit One Trillion Combined Views

YouTube has announced that Minecraft videos on the platform have reached a combined viewing total of one trillion views — a fitting milestone for one of the most popular video games of all time.

To mark the occasion, YouTube has released a music video that references numerous key moments and creators within the Minecraft YouTube community. Its findings were pulled from 12 years worth of daily upload and view data from tens of thousands of creators and millions of viewers who had interacted with Minecraft content on the site.

As our data shows, it took around eight years for this community to generate 500 billion views, but only another two or so to double that and hit one trillion. What future heights they hit we can only guess at, but as with this milestone, it will be fun to watch it happen.
