Judging by the early reviews of Monolith Productions’ action-RPG, it’s looking very much like Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor could be a huge hit.
Inspired by The Lord of the Rings universe, Shadow of Mordor sees gamers controlling floppy-haired hero Tailon, a ranger killed and resurrected with Wraith-like abilities who embarks on a quest for revenge against Sauron’s evil forces.
The game is set in an open-world, and introduces the innovative ‘Nemesis’ system, which dynamically affects the way enemies treat you depending on your actions throughout the game. Players will also be able to wield an assortment of powers and level up via skill trees.
