Free-to-play footie outing Maximum Football is coming to PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, Modus Games and Modus Studios Invictus have announced.
The PC version will launch in Early Access in Spring 2023, with the console versions following at a later, as-yet unspecified date.
So, what of the game itself? The press blurb reveals that Maximum Football will be powered by the Unreal Engine 5, which means you can expect stunning visuals, authentic gameplay, and talking that makes use of realistic physics. Players will be able to take part in Dynasty Mode where you’ll step into the role of a head coach to build your ideal league, while Pro Season Mode will have you playing through a professional season against 31 teams.
Fully customize your team, recruit your dream roster, and take it to the gridiron locally or online as you build your legacy. Tight, rewarding moves allow players to feel the true sensation of being on the field and smooth, responsive controls mean every play is performed as planned. Live service content ensures fresh chances to up your game as you rise through the ranks to take your place beside the legends.
Maximum Football also offers competitive multiplayer allowing you to go head-to-head online or team up with local play. Modus Games is promising a slew of DLC to keep the experience fresh, which will add new features, rules, modes and extra customisation options.
Maximum Football has yet to attract a concrete release date on PS4 & PS5 but we’ll keep you posted.
