Insomniac Games has announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 is getting a standalone release later this month, and will also be available as a $10 upgrade for those who own the PS4 version of the superhero title.
The upgrade path is open to digital or physical copies of Marvel’s Spider-Man, its Game of the Year Edition, as well as the Digital Deluxe Edition. As you may already know, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered was only available as part of the Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
If you’re not upgrading and buying it out right, then Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will set you back $49.99.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered takes advantage of the added horsepower of PS5, featuring improved visuals including ray-tracing and enhanced lighting effects. Notably, it also gives Peter Parker a new face, as his model is now based on Ben Jordan in order match Yuri Lowenthal’s facial CG capture better.
