Marvel’s Avengers’ co-op, War Zones missions, and the mission structure have been detailed by Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics.
This information came in today’s War Table livestream for Marvel’s Avengers, which showcased some new gameplay the co-op mode and highlighted the 4 player Warzone missions which will act as the focal point of co-op play.
The team has also revealed that you will get missions from a variety of characters in the Marvel universe, such as Hank Pim, Jarvis, and Maria Hill, with more coming later on.

This was one of a number of announcements from today’s War Table stream for the game, which you can rewatch here. A brand new story trailer showcased the villains in the game, including MODOK. Along with that, new gameplay was showcased focused on one of Thor’s hero missions. Finally, we got some details on how gear, upgrades, skills, and more will work in the game.
Marvel’s Avengers releases for PS4 on September 4, 2020. The game is due to come to PS5 this Holiday.
