Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 to feature Jill Valentine, Shuma Gorath?

North American retail giant GameStop has let the cat out of the bag in regards to the contents of the Special Edition release of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, confirming it’ll include download tokens for two new characters – Jill Valentine (of Resident Evil fame) and Shuma Gorath.

Apparently, gamers will be able to use the codes to grab the pair four weeks after the title launches in the U.S. – which according to the retailer’s website, happens to be February 15, 2011.

In addition, the listing also confirmed that the Special Edition will include a steelbook case, exclusive art, a prologue comic and a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital Comics. Not too shabby, we think you’ll agree.

As it stands there are no plans to release this SKU in European territories, meaning PAL gamers will have to gain access to Miss Valentine and Gorath via some other means, most likely as a pre-order bonus.

Capcom announced overnight two additional brawlers to the game’s ever-expanding roster – Capcom’s Zero and Marvel’s She-Hulk.
