DON’T NOD’s upcoming title Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is set to release in two separate episodes, or ‘tapes’ as they’re being called here.
The first tape, titled “Bloom,” is currently set to release on February 18, 2025, while the second tape, “Rage” was originally set to release on March 18, 2025.
Today, DON’T NOD published a blog post on the studio’s website updating a few details about the coming release of both tapes, which included delaying the release of Tape 2: Rage from its original March release date to April 15, 2025. The release date for Tape 1: Bloom has not changed, and will still arrive next month.
Regarding delaying Tape 2, in a press release on the news DON’T NOD said “This decision was made to allow for additional optimization and give the team the necessary time to refine the experience for players and enhance the storytelling for a truly immersive continuation of the journey.”
In a blog post about the delay, the studio added “This game is very special to us, and we want to ensure that you get the experience you deserve while playing.”
The other part of today’s news from DON’T NOD is the pricing for Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. The game will be listed at 39,99€/$39.99/£35.89, though players who jump in right at launch will be able to enjoy a 10% discount.
You’ll be buying both parts of the game with that price, and at time of writing it is unclear if DON’T NOD will make the two tapes available separately. Once you’ve bought the game with Tape 1’s release, Tape 2 will be available to download as a free update when it arrives in April.
The last bit of trivia from DON’T NOD about Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, is that the game should take players anywhere from 10-12 hours to complete.
