CI Games has announced that Lords of the Fallen 2 is officially in the works for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with the game set to launch in 2026.
The console versions of Lords of the Fallen 2 will be published by CI Games, but Epic Games has obtained exclusive rights for the distribution of the PC edition for “the entire product life cycle.” The sequel to last year’s fantasy-RPG was previously known internally as Project 3, and is set to capitalise on “the recognition and success achieved by Lords of the Fallen.”

Lords of the Fallen 2 is “built around more ambitious gameplay options for wider audience appeal,” and has benefited from “the substantial learnings, experience and knowledge” of the development of its predecessor.
The original Lords of the Fallen was released in 2014 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The sequel was announced soon after, but endured a lengthy development cycle that eventually saw the game repositioned for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the game arriving in October 2023.
