Lies of P is getting PS5 Pro support, and its director has shared details on what we can expect from the game when it’s up and running on Sony’s high-end console.
Speaking with Eurogamer, Jiwon Choi, the director of Lies of P, confirmed that both the Quality Mode and Performance Mode will benefit from improvements on the PS5 Pro. For example, Quality Mode will offer enhanced frame rate while Performance Mode will deliver full native 4K resolution.

For instance, Quality Mode benefits from more than a 30 percent increase in FPS, delivering smoother, more fluid gameplay. Additionally, Performance Mode now supports full native 4K resolution, allowing players to enjoy stunning visuals without sacrificing responsiveness.
Choi went on to say how Round8 believes that frame rate is important for a premium action-RPG, citing how crucial fluidity and precisions is for combat. With PS5 Pro, the studio is “able to maintain an optimal frame rate in 4K, ensuring the gameplay feels as smooth and responsive as it should.”
Lies of P was released in September 2023 and Round8 Studio previously confirmed that it is working on DLC and a sequel.
