We’ve got a biggie for you today: Kingdom Hearts III has a photo mode.
At least it would seem to, judging by a Tweet sent out earlier today by Gamespot’s Lucy James in which Sora, Mike, and Sully appear to have taken a break from saving the Kingdom Hearts universe in order to capture a quick, impromptu selfie.
Kingdom Hearts III Photo Mode is a Perfect Fit
https://twitter.com/lucyjamesgames/status/1086273631481548800For a series as colourful and nostalgia heavy as Kingdom Hearts, a photo mode makes perfect sense.
We can’t wait to begin exploring the worlds of Toy Story, Big Hero 6, Frozen, and Monsters Inc. whilst capturing scenes and environments from these iconic Disney stories on film – or the PS4 equivalent of film, anyway.
And, though we haven’t been able to try our hand at Kingdom Hearts III photo mode just yet, it looks pretty intuitive.
From what we can tell, there’re the standard zoom and rotate functions, as well as some form of button that lets you alter the subject’s facial expressions. Although we’re not sure if it’s possible to play around with filters, frames etc. at this stage.
Kingdom Hearts III is Almost Upon Us
After over 10 years of waiting for Square Enix to release the next mainline game in the beloved action RPG series, we can’t believe Kingdom Hearts III is almost upon us.
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past decade or have been entirely stripped of your childlike sense of wonder in the years since 2005 and therefore don’t care about something as unapologetically joyous as a Disney-Final Fantasy hybrid, Kingdom Hearts III releases on the 25th January in Japan and on the 29th January worldwide.
