Monolith is reportedly working on a sequel to the critically acclaimed action-fantasy romp, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
That’s according to a listing for ‘Shadow of Mordor 2’ on a resume for a Hollywood stunt actress, which was picked up this week by NerdLeaks. The listing mentions motion capture work for Blur, a CGI production company, indicating that a trailer of sorts could be on the horizon.
Of course, this should be treated as a rumor for the time being, as Monolith and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have yet to officially confirm any sequel to the original open-world fantasy title.
Released to critical and commercial success in fall 2014 for PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One, Shadow of Mordor takes place in the 60 years between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, and sees gamers controlling a ranger with Wraith-like abilities.
