Is Haunting Ground Coming To PS4/PS5? Capcom‘s cult survival horror classic was originally released for the PS2 back in 2005, and is known as Demento in its native Japan. The game shares many elements with the Clock Tower series, and has been described by many as a spiritual successor to the franchise.
Interestingly, the game also features some very early ideas that were scrapped for one of the first builds of Resident Evil 4, namely a female protagonist and a canine companion. These ideas were repurposed for Haunting Ground.
But is a Haunting Ground PS4/PS5 release on the cards? Let’s find out!

Is Haunting Ground PS4/PS5 Happening?
Right now Capcom has not announced any plans for a Haunting Ground PS4/PS5 release, be it a complete revival of the series or a high-definition remaster. It’s a shame too, as there’s definitely a strong following behind the game and it’s pretty unique compared to most horror games.
Folk have already petitioned to get a remaster out the door, although that hasn’t had the desired results yet. Rest assured if this changes we’ll definitely update the article with any new info. Capcom does love its HD remasters though, so there might be a chance we’ll get something down the line.
