Is Deadlock Coming To PS5? Developed by the legendary Valve Corporation of Half-Life fame, Deadlock takes the form of a 6v6 shooter and follows a similar template to Overwatch. Oddly enough, Valve hasn’t actually officially announced the game; as of August 2024, it’s still in development and has been in Closed Beta for months now. Even so, leaks have been doing the rounds for a while, leading to a lot of interest in a possible Deadlock 5 release. But is it happening?

Right now there is no official confirmation of a Deadlock PS5 release. However, it’s still very early days at this point, as the game is still in testing for PC; as such, any console version would not yet be on the roadmap and could still happen later down the line. We’ll keep you updated.

What Is Deadlock?

Deadlock is a third-person shooter and MOBA, plucking inspiration from the likes of Overwatch and other hero shooters. The game takes place from a third-person perspective, and sees players controlling powerful heroes as they escort NCPs down lanes in an effort to destroy enemy defences. As with most games of this kind, Deadlock allows players to unlock hero abilities and skills, and reports state there are about 20 heroes on the roster.
