The question was finally answered when Call of Duty tweeted the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout mode map; with the caption Where are you dropping first? and #BlackOps4 just yesterday, September 6.
Is Black Ops 4 Going To Have Nuketown?
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 release date is on October 12, 2018, already. But Activision and Treyarch have a host of pre-order exclusives if you put your cash down for CoD Black Ops 4 now. You can have access to the Black Ops 4 Blackout which will be available three days from now, on September 10. This news they announced together with the overview of the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout map. And to quote, the map is the largest map in Call of Duty history. The map reveals all other classic Black Ops map and, of course, Black Ops 4 Nuketown.
Just three months ago, David Vonderhaar (Call of Duty director) teased on his tweet that Nuketown will still be in Black Ops 4. Here he responded to Adam Hoggatt’s 10th anniversary of Call of Duty. He made Hoggatt remember how he created Nuketown in the previous Ops series followed by an ellipsis. It was then a tease and a rumor but now, Nuketown will definitely in Call of Duty Black Ops 4.
What to expect in Black Ops 4 Nuketown?
As you can see on the map, Nuketown is isolated west of the play area. But we can say that it expanded more than previous Black Ops Nuketown maps which is one of the smallest maps. Array and Firing Range also made it to Black Ops 4 map from original CoD Black Op maps.
As to what it looks like inside and its effect on Battle Royale, we are all excited to see it on September 10. But for sure it would be all new and thrilling map to explore just like the previous ones.
