If you’ve just purchased this console, and are turning it on for the first time, then as part of the setup you’ll be prompted to sign into a PlayStation Network account.
If you skipped that step at the time and are looking to sign into a PlayStation Network account today, follow these steps:
- Turn on your PS4 console
- From your home screen, navigate to Settings
- Select Account Management within Settings
- Select Sign Into PlayStation Network
- Enter the email and password associated with your PlayStation Network Account
How To Sign Into PlayStation Network On PS5
For brand new PS5 consoles being turned on for the first time, you’ll be prompted to sign into your PlayStation Network account, if you have one, as part of the setup.
If you skipped that step originally, follow these steps:
- Turn on your PS5 console
- From your home screen, navigate to Settings
- Within your Settings, select Users and Accounts
- Once there, a message saying “You’re not signed in. Connect to PlayStation Network to use this feature”
- Below the message will be a big button that says “Sign In”
- Select that and enter the email and password associated with your PlayStation Network account
