Before you begin on how to make a plane – TerraTech, let us look at how building in TerraTech PS4 is done. Payload Studios worked with PlayStation for over four years to give TerraTech in PS4. They have made some changes in the TerraTech controls, especially for the consoles. One of which is the Snap-on Snap off feature.
Since TerraTech was known as a PC game, the developers developed an efficient system for PS4 controller called the snap-on mechanic. With snap-on, players can build huge techs faster and more accurate
When building techs like your first plane, the blocks that you select will automatically snap onto your tech. You just have to move, rotate and place it anywhere you want in the Tech. Another noticeable change is the block limit based on your block’s value. Now here’s what you need to make a simple plane in TerraTech.
How to Make a Plane – TerraTech
There are plenty of aircraft or fliers you can create in TerraTech. Some are simple like planes and helicopters but there are also more complex ones like drones and VSTOL aircraft (Very Short Take-Off and Landing).
But for your first aircraft, we recommend a simple plane. So here are the blocks you need:
- 1 Venture Seraphim Nose Propeller
- 1 GSO Cosmonaut SAP Cab
- 1 Venture Long Block
- 1 GSO One Block
- 3 GSO Hub Wheel (Venture Landing Gear Wheel may also possibly work)
- 1 GSO Rudder Aerofoil
- 1 GSO Right Highwind Aerofoil
- 1 GSO Left Highwind Aerofoil
- 1 Venture Radar (Optional) (GSO Kraven Radar Module would also possibly work)
- Various Lights (Optional)
Once you have all these basic blocks, simple follow the snap-on mechanic and design your first plane.
